Someone mentioned that the bartenders at places like the BM can generally steer you to something you like. Will a 500 colonie note help you get a recommendation ?

Read that perhaps the Chicas understand a lot more English than they let on. If you mentioned DATY to one of them, would they understand ? Or is that mainly a shorthand here on the forums ? Would Wanda at the ZB understand DATY if that's what you wanted recommended to you ?

And if you buy a chica a drink at the bar at the Pres are they getting the read stuff at the normal prices or can they work deals with bartenders there like they do at the BM ?

Do they get a cut on the drinks served them at the BM ? Would rather give that money directly to her than drop colonies on phony drinks which could cost a bundle.

B-girls in Mexico keep their different colored swizzle sticks and then tun them in later to the bartenders to get their cuts. I met a service worker in Piedras Negras not long ago that had a footlocker full of them. It was like a savings account for her.

Could use the bartenders at BM, but Vegas Bob and other local mongers will give their stamp of approval or heads up if thats what your looking for.

Drinks at the Presidente and BM cost the same for both girls and guys. Most girls do not drink liquor. Fruit juice and Red Bull are very popular. Idem will charge more for lady drinks.

Girls do not recieve a "kick back" on the drinks at BM or KL.

The second night I was at the Del Ray, I was getting well into my hunt when I noticed Gman talking to a girl and I knew that his Spanish wasn't that great. I ended up walking by and he and this girl are conversing in English.
When they split up I asked him about it. He told that he had seen the girl a year or so ago and they had remained friends. He asked if I wanted to talk to her. I said sure. So he introduced me.

Don't assume the girls don't understand English. All they have to do is catch is a few key words and they'll get a good idea of what you are talking about. I find it amusing how their comprehension of English varies to suit their needs.

Be very careful if you happen to say something that you wouldn't want them to hear if they spoke perfect English. They might just pick up more than you think.

This holds true for taxi drivers or anyone else you might come in contact with. Be a good ambassador for Gringos and CRT and you'll find your experience in Costa Rica is enriched.

YEs...most all of these girls have taken english at one time or another. I get a little pissed sometimes when I hear guys talking trash about the girl sitting next to them...assuming they dont understand. Personally, I think we should always be respectful of these hard working ladies. Most of them have no outs, no better opportunities...and those of us fortunate enough to have grown up in the US with lots of $$$ relatively...should think twice before talking down to them. I have said many times to other gringos, "play for pay is what they do, not who they are". (in most cases)

These gals have little choice and should not be disrespected for doing what they do.

I have never disrespected a gal in CR, Thailand, Philippines, or anywhere alse for that matter.

Even the ones that were less than good, or didn't provide what was agreed to. I just accept it and move on, I have made my point of being unhappy, but always with respect. Then we don't have any future sessions.

That said, I had a less than good session with a gal from the BM in August, very rushed and didn't even act like it was enjoyable. I saw her again this last trip and she approached me, I was polite and told her that she was a nice person but that the last time was not really enjoyable. She said she was sorry and said that she promised it would be great this time. I was very leary, but but took her back to the hotel. She was fantastic! Generally I agree, but on my first trip to CR a little over a year ago, I pulled a dominicana out of the News Cafe, and she spent the night with me. Never talked money, but I gave her some in the AM. Biggest tatas I had ever seen. Problem was she was drunk by the time we got to the room, and I had to wait till it wore off to do her Russian style.

As for them understanding english...it all depends on the chica. The smart ones make a real effort to learn it. The dumb ones don't give a shit. Cristal was hot, but dumb. But she did know a few english curse words. My last night with her, when she and her friends got drunk and kept ordering more drinks, I got pissed and rattled off a string of expletivies, including the word "bullshit." It's funny...I was working so hard during my visit to C.R. to speak Spanish, that I found myself trying to react to the sexual activity in Spanish, which is totally unnatural. If one is turned on, one isn't thinking about translation. Fortunately, I speak enough Spanish so that I even think in Spanish most of the time rather than doing translations in my head, but during sex, it became a little surreal. Finally, I just started reacting verbally in English, and the two women with whom I had the best experiences fully understood. For instance, I had been receiving delightful mouth from M. at ZB, and I sighed, "Use your finger..." I didn't need to translate. The Miracle Digit of Marcella came into play. With J. at Item, while I was playing braille with her fantastic tits, I said, "amazing...beautiful..." and she said, "thank you" in English. She had previously said that she only spoke Spanish. A cab driver told me that he didn't speak English well enough to use it, that he was a little timid about possibly sounding dumb, so he spoke only Spanish. As a bit of a test, I directed him to our destination in English, and he understood the directions perfectly. He claims to never have studied English. When our guide to the la Paz waterfall park told us in Spanish that he had learned to milk cows by hand at age 10, I cracked a joke in Spanish about his accomplishments in the field of masturbation as a result. His response was quick, and in English. "Shut the Phuck up!" Just as those of you who have learned no Spanish formally have begun to understand numbers, foods and dirty words along the way during your travels, the ticos/ticas have learned a lot of English. please do be respectful to those around you, in any language. We are after all, gentlemen.

This goes both ways. I remember an afternoon at the Taipan club, when I laughed at a comment one of the ladies made, and was told that we were NOT expected to understand them.

If you are going to come down often, I'd suggest taking one of the Spanish courses down here. In a few weeks you'll have picked up enough to get yourself into trouble, but not enough to talk your way out. In any case, it makes talking to the chicas more fun.

Let's add some balance to Tman's and Easyecm's comments. I agree we should not dis girls because of who they are, but we may based on what they do.

It isn't very nice when you show up and they tell you, "It's over, I have a boyfriend." (It just happened to someone I know). Or when they say they'll be over for sure, then don't call or show. Or when they say TLN and then change it to 2 hours. And it's really not nice when they tell you they love you, to please send money so they don't have to "work" and then screw anything that moves (with a smile). Sound familiar?

It's also not nice when they act cheery at the Rey and then change personalities at your room. It's unacceptable when they ask for money up front. It's pain in the ass if they then leave you with your dick in your hand (with a cocky attitude). It's disingenuous if they tell you cim is okay when at the rey and then back at the room change it to on their silicone instead.

I know, I know. How could be so anal? The answer is this; when you meet a person who is a joy to be with , who also happens to be female and happens to be "working", you can't help being nice. I mentioned in another thread a new 18-y.o. at Zona. What a breath of fresh air. Contrast her to the other end of the spectrum, namely some cunts who walk around the D like they're Ms. Slickshits, and it's no wonder an occasional "good man" says something he shouldn't.

To put it another way, I have to be civil and on by best behavior when I go to work. I owe to those who put the cash in my hands. It's a fact that some girls just can't grasp that concept.

We like to feel sorry for them and I admit, I'm one of the biggest suckers north of CR. But in my more sober moments, I remember we're all tricks. Kudos to the girls who manage not to throw that up in our faces. But let's not forget that many girls have zero respect for us, hate what they're doing and will do or say anything to part you from your Ben Franklin.

None of this gives an excuse to belittle anyone, but it helps explain why things can get a little ugly from time to time.

My feelings about how these girls should be treated have already been stated here by others.One additional thing though,don't guys who treat the girls badly understand that you get out of the experience what you put into it?
