I've been a few times to that place in Chinatown on St.Urbain, just south of La Gauchetiere. The place is in the basement. Not the be confused with the other next door (Massage Da Tang, upstairs) that share a common door with the Noodle Factory.
After a few tries, I had enough weirdness there and decided not to go anymore. There seem to be 2 ladies working in this place. One 38-40 years-old with glasses. The other one maybe 40-45 with short hair. Their massage techique is pretty similar: they have technique but I've seen better therapeutic massage. It's too soft, even when a harder massage is asked, and the focus seem to be mostly on some (light) teasing. $35 HH and $50 an hour. A $20-$25 tip is usually asked.
The woman with the glasses: funny lady, speaks basic French and English, a little on the weird side. She has this strange habit during the finale: she turns her back at you and make these WEIRD suction noises with her mouth that I find quite disturbing. Never seen/heard that before.
She also has the tendency of "forgetting" a few things. Forgets to bring your change back, forgets to bring you a towel... or forgets you where there in the first place. The last time I've been there ("last" is the key word here) she had me waiting 15 minutes in a room without a shower. I thought the room with a shower was not yet ready so I waited. I finally called for her, she went in and told me I had to wait for the other woman to be done with her customer. "Why not you?" I asked, because she was not busy at all. She simply said "no, not me, you like pretty young girls don't you?". The young girl, you might have guessed, was the other 40-45 yo short-haired woman. I had guessed too, so I was spared the disappointment. Her technique is similar as the one described above (but without the weird noises). She's not as strange as our lady with the glasses, but she watches the clock all the time. To be honest, she's not rushing you and might exceed the time without saying anything.
Overall, not that bad. But a strange feeling every time of being in a weird place with weird people. And nothing very satisfying here: if you're looking for a good massage that will help those aches and pains in the shoulders, back, etc., I suggest the place next door (Da Tang) where the massage is good. And one other thing that convinced me of not going back: the temperature. This basement seems impossible to heat. I don't even thing the place is heated and I wonder if the employees themselves find this a comfortable environment to work. They have a portable heater that doesn't do the job. Now that was not the problem the 1st time (in August or September?), but now it's the winter and you don't want to take any clothes off in such a cold and uncomfortable place. It's even worse after a hot shower.
