I had my doubts at the time about what Thai / Chinese purely vegetarian food would be like, I thought that once you took the meat out of the equation there isnโt much left other than rice and pak - how wrong was I! Thai and Chinese veggie food is lovely and easily eatable for long periods of time, plus a lot of it is the same food just with meat substitutes. Also going to some of the veggie 'restaurants' which they set up around, you try things you wouldnโt normally, and never heard or seen before. I think itโs great. And good grub, especially the curries. (Avoid the brown stuff that looks like wet cardboard... as it tastes exactly like wet cardboard. chances are it is just wet cardboard but anyway, I don't recommend it.)
