Hi all! I was just offered a position in a chiropractors office near my home. I will be working there 1 morning and 1 afternoon during the week to start, as they only have 2-5 clients/week. The therapist that they have now lives a long way from the office, and she just isn't working out. So, they offered me the position, which I accepted. It's a 65/35 split (I get 65%) and they are providing the room and table, with sink, furniture, etc., but I have to provide the rest, which isn't a big deal. However, I was discussing the details with the office manager and she wants me to work with her on getting new clients in for massages. I suggested offering a discount on chiropractic services when they get a massage and vice versa, but what I'd like to do is mail a postcard to all of the chiropractic clients and introduce myself, and invite them in for a massage, say 10% off their first visit or something like that. Does anyone have any additional suggestions on what I can do to get more recognition for the massages? Also, who should pay for the mailing? The office or me?
