Christmas Party?

Hi all,

what have you done for Christmas/Holiday parties for your clients? I'd like to do something unique/special, maybe a mini treatment of some kind, but it has to be easy/short on time, as I'm a one-woman show. I can get family members to help greet people etc. Do you have out gift bags? gifts of any kind? What do you have for food? is it at night, or an all day event?

Christmas Party?

In the past years I have just handed out a small gift. Most years it is massage related... Biofreeze, soothing eye masks, soothing mineral salts. I actually thought about an open house sort of thing too, but I decided it was just too much for one person to take on. Let us know what you decide upon!

Call me crazy but my son and I are doing an open house anniversary special next weekend. Friday and Saturday from 9:00 to 3:00 we will draw names hourly for gifts (bath salts, chocolates, & massage certificates from my son to help build his business). We are offering 25% off our Gift Certificates those two days only, as well as our regular Christmas specials. I am hoping to sell a ton of certificates those two days to generate some income. October and November are very slow months here. The local Subway owners are regular clients so we will trade massages for 3 foot sub sandwiches. We'll serve those, chips & dip, water, hot chocolate or coffee. I sent out flyers last Monday to promote it and will have a booth at our Chamber Christmas in Townsquare tomorrow to promote it further. Wish us luck...

Is anyone doing mini-treatments? I've heard of this being done, but I've never seen it... do you guys do such a thing? If so, what do you do? a mini hand treatment (scrub, application of moisturizer), or feet? Do you do holiday themes like cinnamon, chocolate, and peppermint? Do you give little samples away???

LOL lots of questions, I know!!
