I am in extreme pain most of the time and have tried just about every therapy under the sun. I have also tried anti inflammatories and pain killers, none that have any effect.
About three times a year ,maybe more I have massive flare ups up to two or three weeks continuosly and the muscle spasms are unbearable.
Can anyone suggest anything at all. I have found that if I have a regular Holistic or cranial massage at least once a week it does give some relief but I cannot afford this anymore as I claim incapacity benefit at the moment, which is distressing in itself by causing me low self esteem.
I have to modify my lifestyle from day to day and unable to make social plans or be reliable for work. This pain and stiffness is unpredictable and can come and go at anytime.
Rhuematologists and doctors say I have to learn to live with this. But it's unbearable and I can't do anything most of the time. It takes a lot of energy just to shower and dress. Using public transport is very nerve racking as the tiniest vibration hurts.
