Client Christmas Gifts

I ususally give gifts to my regular clients every year. It's hard to
think of something new every year, keep gifts within a reasonable budget and keep it simple. Some of the ideas of the past have been
a jar of christmas spice bath salts. Very easy and I bought great jars with lids and spoons attached for 50cents a piece. I filled them with bath salts and wrapped them in a pretty celephane bags with a christmas bow. One year I gave away bottles of linen spray with a matching candle. Another year, I got a great deal on some AVON products and allowed each client to choose a gift from under the tree. This year I have ordered some Happy Meal type boxes that are red and have my logo and business name is on them. Since I am very busy I am filling them with things that are pre packaged. Each box will contain a pretty tin of tea, celephane wrapped biscotti and a relaxing holiday music CD.

Thank you. Those are pretty! I've been debating this year on what to do. I think I've settled on baking bread (tiny loaves) for gifts. It's one I haven't done yet. Last year I did salts and it was fun and well received - and heavy. I do outcalls. :roll:

Those ARE some cute ideas!! So is the bread, and sounds alot lighter to lug to your outcalls lol I have alot of male clients who would rather have bread to munch than be seen with a bottle of bath salts lol Perhaps i will do both!

Glad to hear other people give gifts to their clients. I am doing holiday cards this year, and tucking several certificates inside:

- a small gift certificate for a local store in the neighborhood
- a gift certificate for an "intro" massage session for new clients, that they can give to someone in their life
- some kind of "extra 15 minutes on your next session" coupon

Yeah, it's the annual struggle. I spotted a fancy mousepad at Jysk that has a gel palm rest that sells for $2.99 each (Cdn.) I think that's what I'll go with this year. Last year it was soap and loofas. The year before that it was exotic cheeses and the year before that it was fancy cocktail glass eforum.xxxs. I've given books as gifts, too. Oh yeah, and mugs with fancy tea.

last year we went to ikea and bought tea lights and the little colured holders, and bought gift bags and gave those out, we also had two chochalte truffles in a little gift box that we got for $1.35 each very nice, and the pt's loved them, for a couple bucks more they would print your logo or message on them, we are doing the same thing again for about 250 clients this coming month

Every year I make "Peppermint bark". I think that is what it is called. It is white chocolate with candy cane pieces in it.

I just melt the chocolate, add the candy cane bits, and spread it on a sheet pan. Once it is cooled I break it up into chucks and put them in holiday bags.

Many clients ask for second and third bags! It is easy to do and everyone seems to like it, so I don't worry about changing things every year.

I've often given my regulars a nice pair of
unscented cream colored taper candles wrapped with a beautiful bow with greens tucked into the ribbon. For the past several years I've been able to find soy & beeswax candles with cotton rather than lead wicks which I feel is also more environmentally friendly too !

This works for all religious or non-religious belief systems, goes with everyone's decor, and has always gone over well. Its my way of bringing more light into the world ! Plus for those clients who bring a gift to me, I feel I have something I can give them in return.

Are coupons to promote my business tacky as gifts?

Those are all great suggestions I've been reading on this page. Do you think it's tacky to give $5 off coupons to use towards massg? I struggle w/this time of yr. and the waste of money on things they may or may not use/like> I also thought of exp. dates on the coupons so that they are redeemed during the slower seasons...again...tack?

This year I am giving the Happy FootDays sampler. I purchased small holiday gift bags at the craft store and filled them with Michelle Kluck's Little Book of Reflexology, a Giovanni's Recharge Peppermint moist wipe, a small tube of foot cream and a miniature candy cane. These are going to my regular clients.
