Does anyone know any places to party in Escazu that attracts a classy middle aged crowd?? I have been going to Fandangos and would like to get to know some similiar places.

Also does Friends in el pueblo still have a ladies night and if so what night??

Does anyone else know of any other places that have a ladies night??

I also like Fandango's. There is a brand new Jazz Cafe somewhere in escazu but I have not been yet. Same owners as San Pedro, but they stated the will be going for a little more upscale crowd.

I also like Fandango's. There is a brand new Jazz Cafe somewhere in escazu but I have not been yet. Same owners as San Pedro, but they stated the will be going for a little more upscale crowd.

The new Jazz Cafe is on the service road off the Prospero Fernandez auto pista directly across from hospital CIMA. If you are coming from San Jose it is the first exit after the toll booth the same exit that leads to Plaza Itskazu where Hooters, Outback and a bunch of other restaurants are.

I am not sure if they are open yet.

I went to a place called Frankie-Go (I think). Ended up in a small little VIP section and "quickly" ended up with alot of Tico and Tica friends (Probably due to the trays of shooters we were doing. regardless, it was a blast and would do it again anytime.

As always, make sure you go with someone though.

I know a lot about the bar scene in Escazu, I go there every weekend.

Fandango is a nice place to go after midnight, or get there even later. Everyone goes over there after the bar they were in starts to give them last call.

Best palce to go either Friday or Saturday would be Privé, it's owner is a gringo and the place is always packed with classy middle aged ladies. Bunch of local models go party here.

It usually closes at 4am, and you can head to Fandango if you feel like partying a little more.

Ladies Night is Friday at Privé, free drinks for the ladies, no show.

I also visit Friends for ladies night, it is on Tuesday. The same owner has the bar next door, Ebony56 which has ladies night on Thursday, bunch of horny girls (not the classy type) that will be very friendly in exchange for drinks. They love gringos by the way. Most of the girls go only the admision fee, they are not the wealthy type, easy place to hook up in my oppinion. You will even see a bunch of the HDR girls getting there for these ladies nights.

I wish would have hooked up with you guys this weekend, I am staying in Escazu but mostly rolled solo. Not so easy, but I'm used to it and did alright. I'll look you guys up next trip. By the way, I went to Prive, but the crowd and the techno drove me nuts but the ladies were the best I've seen in CR.

Is Prive a place where the ladies are p4p or just regular gals out on the town?

They are regular local girls coming from good Tico families. I think they would be more interested in building a relationship and having a gringo novio (and I don't mean one to send RFM's to). Many are from upper class families and are just out having fun. And man, are they hot. Reminds me of South Beach. They are nice, too. Many were smiling at me as I was walking by. The trick here seems to be to not play coy as would in the US. I ended up losing 2 hotties that way. But I did score one girl's number. She wouldn't go home with me that night, but we made a date for the following night and I scored. And, it was gratis, as again, these are local girls. They are suspicious of gringos down here though. I had one that kept insisting I was married or lying about having a girlfriend at home. By the way, it helpd if you are staying somewhere other than downtown when rapping with the local girls, at least, especially for the Escazu girls. El Central has a negative connotation to the rest of the city.

Based on bad experience from several buddies, i have never been to El Pueblo. Is Prive in the multiplaza area? i know it is not on the mall property. I think I may have been there if it is the one by the World Gym in the strip mall.

I have spent more time at Castro's than anywhere else. I like the non-stuck up atmosphere, the service and of course the serious dancing. i also like almost all music except Techno.
