How about introducing a little of a more 'masculine' colour for balance, eg navy blue? For accessories, maybe not a whole wall. Would go nicely with the pink/lilac scheme you have in mind, IMHO anyway.

and have great fun playing around with the onscreen room (click on either of the two walls and the ceiling) and the paint charts on the right. The categories of colour there are very similar to some of the Dulux special ranges you can get mixed up at any of the DIY superstores ... Heritage, Shaker etc ... though I have to say the idea of fume-free eco-friendly paint does appeal to me for when I need to redecorate.
