Is Comfort still a no go for most or has anyone been there recently. Old threads here but nothing current. Maybe nothing has changed there?

For old time sake, walked in before Christmas when I was shopping at WEM. There were a auntie who greeted me there, pretended that I have never been, did a short tour and left. Wasn't in an auntie mood and I didn't see anyone younger than me. There were a pair of men's shoes by the door so they do have customers. My realtor told me that the building is for sale so who knows how long they will be around.

Many years ago I did a walk-in here and ended up with a super-cheerful plump auntie named Coco. Because I was looking more for the therapeutic aspect on that visit, I went with the flow and I was most definitely not disappointed. Coco still stands out in my mind as one of the all-time best at delivering deep pressure and getting good work done without relying on jamming elbows into me and leaving me sore for two days afterwards. Her technique on the flip was also pretty damn good as I remember.

This is for sure, stars like CiCi, Daisy and Cindy got their starts there; not sure what happened to cause the decline.

Guessing partly greed. Also, the fact Amy stole so many customers did not make the good ladies feel like staying in that environment. After a while of that, the place just became irrelevant.

As far the the building goes, it is not a bad spa, all of the rooms are big, a bit dated but they all have in-room showers, easy access to Henday, close to the mall, good parking, secluded mall away from prying eyes; nothing really not to like about the location. All they need is a new lady or two who have the abilities to earn a few good reviews and they should be rocking again. The same can be said about the nearby YoYo Spa as well.

Oh so many greats had their start there. I used to frequent when I worked in the area. I should pay them a visit just for old times sake, but I doubt the current owner managers even know the former ones. I could be wrong

This is so true. As a place, CO, Yoyo, and previously Best Care are way ahead. Other places like AAA, TQ, variety of south spots I'm less familiar with seem to be ahead service wise. TT and XP are in between I suppose. GE maybe best balance?

Service is a lot more subjective and won't try to rank that here.

You mentioned AAA and YQ, those are places I don't go unless I hear of someone "great". Always dark, always cold, just can't seem to get comfortable in them. AAA used to be Vivian's old shop but she worked alone. Trying to squeeze 3 girls/rooms in such as a small place didn't work for me. Then there is that first tiny little room with rickety table, not even enough room for the masseuse to work properly. I would rather go to Sou Springs just down the road.

YoYo on the other hand is brand new with in-room showers, all they need is some good ladies to migrate there (gosh I miss Mia). CO is old but nothing a fresh coat of paint and a thorough cleaning can't fix.

I always wondered why the better girls don't migrate to the newer/cleaner spas? I am guessing it is either the boss or money.

Agree with your comments but when I say "environment", I was not referring to the location or the spa itself. I was referring to Amy constantly stealing customers from the other ladies. As mentioned, a lot of good ladies got their start at this place but the place got a bad rap, I think, because of Amy's antics. Once you get a bad rap, it is hard to shake. I used to go there and stopped. Also a lady named Ling, was constantly trying to upsell during the massage. Not only did it stop you from relaxing during the massage but her prices were ridiculously high. I have not been back since and I will not go again unless I hear some very compelling arguments that they have changed. Problem is, if a lot of customers feel that way, how do you get those positive reports?

Coco at YQ is pretty cute and slim. Junk massage but she is enthusiastic and gives a great finish. The rest are haggard old aunties there.

She is not spring chicken anymore, she is 50+ old, keep herself in good shape

I went to YQ when Yumi was around. Coco has a good body, wish she would loosen up a little sometimes; so strict about her restrictions.

Yumi is still there, but only once or twice a week. I've been seeing Coco a long time, and consider her a favourite.
