Concerns about pregnancy massages?

I was thinking of getting my 4 month pregnant wife a pregnancy massage for her birthday (she will be 4.5 months gone then). However, I am concerned about how safe they are. I know it is a special qualification to do it. My wife may also choose to have this massage later in the pregnancy.

My question is, if a massage releases toxins from the muscles, where do these toxins go once they are released?

Is there ANY chance of harm to the baby?

Is there a safest time to have a pregnancy massage?
