Hello,
When I have a client that has restricted range of motion I always do connective tissue stretching after I remove the knots so that the muscle goes back to its original length. The problem I have when I am stretching is my hands usually slip. I try drying the oil and hands and such, but for the most part it doesn't work well. Plus, I do not want to grab their arm with lots of pressure to pull and the only places I can get a good grip on is the top of the elbow and the wrist.
I have seen this device which is basically nylon and has adjustable circles on the ends. The circles are adjustable to they can tighten ankles. It is used in transportation of criminals in jails, but I think it could also be used in stretching. One band would go just above the elbow, while the other is on the forearm or wrist. With using a device like this, much surface area would be covered so that lots of pressure wouldn't be placed in a small area because it would be spread out. you would pull on this device to stretch the connective tissue. I could not find a picture of the device I am talking about but I did find a similar item that shows how the ends would be used.

If anyone has seen somthing similar or if they have any idea how well it would work please give your input.
Sincerely,
