I just put 'contraindications' into the Search box (in the green line above) and came up with the following link:

There are 13 pages of threads so there is bound to be something that you can use. You could also try putting Indian Head Massage into the search and see if this has been discussed before. Good luck!

I would also question your tutor/college as to why contraindications (never heard of temporary or general used as terms) are not outlined in your course notes.

I know of contra indications obviously and yes they are in my notes, it's the local, temp, general that i'm not sure about.

I have searched on here for this and found nothing. Yes lots about contra-indications but none about the persific groups i need.

Local, temp, general - could mean just about anything - what does your list of contraindications say specifically? Put them here and someone could have a stab at what order they might be!

Hi Cherrypie,

My interpretation would be that general are the types of conditions you mentioned which are also general to most therapies. Temporary would be something like a flu, migraine etc which will allow a treatment once cleared up and local would be something like cuts/bruises etc as it would mean that you could do the treatment but would have to miss that local area out.

Hope this helps and I understand that if you are just starting out sometimes these things can be confusing as they are all new terms. I hope this helps and I am reading the question properly!!
