I have recently found out I am expecting and I have a client that is interested in receiving a Hot Stone Massage. In school we were taught you should never elevate a pregnant clients body temperature. I was wondering if it would be too much as a therapist's temp to be elevated...
My Dr mentioned before we were trying to conceive that I should avoid hot showers, steam/sauna rooms, hot tubs while we are trying and after we conceive...
So now I am thinking...how hot is too hot? It's been a while...well, years since I have worked with my hot stone set (I hate to clean them so I don't promote that service...lazy I know) and I remember that I do sweat a lot more when I am working with stones...but then again, I sweat when I work out and exercise is good for the preggo body so...
I was hoping to get a variety of good opinions from you all so please help!
