cortizone shots

not sure this is in the right section... feel free to move if needed:

I did a search but couldn't find anything -
what is the suggested wait time for massage on an area that has had a cortizone shot?

If you want to do any deep work incl. but limited to Cross-fiber friction you have to wait 10 days or more. If they've had 3 or more injections in that foot or whatever than never can do any work that causes an inflammatory response.

Someone please second this or correct me. I'm not sure I recall this being said in class one day, but it could have been about cortiocsteroid injections.

I worked at a PT clinic and we did very light day of or not at all. The next time they came in we did what we normally would do, mostly CFF work (which was usually 2 days later).
