Couples friendly Nightlife??

Me and the wife are early 30s. Be in Phuket on Karon beach all next week.

Whats a good place for couples to hang, maybe get some good massage and get drunk and take in some people watching and good food?

I think most places are family friendly, even Patong is being crowded with couples and families these days and single guys in minority. (During high season)

Same same. Just back from a week in Patong with the wife (also in the 30s). Great fun in Patong for all ages. Couples or singles! Our favorite food is sure Savoys Seafood (next bangla road on the beach road/safari beach hotel). And the discos are also great (Banana, Tiger, Safari are our personal favorites).

You are going to Phuket in the next week, but haven't bothered to see what season it is even?? Doesn't anyone read up a little about the place they are going to??
It could very well have been bang in the middle of monsoon season for all you knew:bad:

As it happens, it is high season, with pretty settled weather and temperatures around 30 - 32C

Yes , the rains are definatly over and the evenings pleasant in Dec. but its also peak season so prices are up.
There are a couple of restaraunts opposite Ocean Shopping Plaza on Bangla rd that I always find are laid back and great people watching spots, particularly around 7 to 9pm when you can watch everyone heading for work...

i'm here right now and is so awful i want to go back home early,i miss the warm welsh weather,the food and the fine ladies .
don't believe what they say about phuket ,only ugly women ,bad food and very expensive.

Actually Steve, forget Welsh come to Boston this weekend we're expecting snow and the deep freeze is slowly coming.
