Couples massage question

was just reading this thread: http://www.massageplanet.com/forum/viewtopic.php?t=14037 on couples massages, and it brought to mind a question I've been puzzling over. (How does one get the link within the text- I mean, the words "this thread" would contain the hyperlink to the thread?)

What I've been wondering is this: We have been discussing that once I have my license, we could offer couples massages. However, it has occurred to me that our room is too small to set up two tables in, and we have no other place we could do so. Dh is not eager to start back doing outcalls again- *especially* with TWO tables. So is couples massage out for us, at least for now?

Timedess if you scroll over the URL button on the posting page it shows you two different ways to insert the link. The way you want to do it would go like this:

text to call it[/ url] except take out the space between the / and url in that last part.

About the couples massage it does sound like if you don't have the space then it won't work.

Do you have adjoing rooms with a door between? Or could a door be put in? At our shop, my room has a door going into the next room. We've always kept it closed and locked but the girl in the other room recently left and we were talking about the room, looked at each other and said "Open the door and ...couples massage!" We did our first one today and they were very pleased. I know we've had a few people not schedule because they couldn't be in the same room. A door that can be left open is a good option because we can have two separate rooms or one big one (more or less...at least they feel like they're together!)

No, we don't, tranquilspirit. We are renting a room in a salon, and we are going to be sharing it. I don't want to be working enough to justify the cost of renting another room (even if they did have adjoining ones available, which they don't). The one room is quite enough, LOL!

We are going to have to get a "massage establishment" license in order to work together in our state (lovely, but it is way less expensive and far easier than renting two rooms, coming up with another business mane, and advertising separately; i.e., having two completely separate businesses). This license will be good for two years before coming up for renewal. I've told dh that what we need to do is practice working together in the room we have now over the next year, and in the second year, we'll have a much better idea of how the business can and needs to grow, and we'll know what we need to be looking out for during that second year, so when something comes available, we'll be ready, but not rushed at all. If we were to move before the two years is up, we'd have to purchase another MEL, even if in the same building, so that will give us a "base" to work with.
