course with Gabriel Mojay

hello everyone,
I'm going to start studying aromatherapy and after some researching found the course best suited to my needs - at least it seems so. It's a weekend course, so I can work full time whilst doing it, it seems to be quite in-depth (based mainly on the fact that it's long, not 'become an aromatherapist in 5 days!' type...and the course programme looks interesting as well), and the people who do it seem to know what they are doing...

the key word here is 'seem'- it all seems nice to me, but I will never know before I try...I see that this forum is full of experienced people, is there anyone here who actually did the aromatherapy course and could tell me something more about it than the website?

Yes and i loved it so much i'm doing again!!!! lol no seriously it is an amazing course and people who i was on the course with who HAD already been on aromatherapy courses were really amazed at how much was covered on the course itself. I myself missed a few lessons and i'm restarting it in april and i am really looking forward to it. There is a lot to learn but the syllabus is very detailled and its a really good course to go on as courses go. If you think this is the one for you then go for it because Gabriel is a very passionate person when it comes to this subject and he has this way of making you wanting to know more and more. Hope this helps you out.

the thing that sold me the course was your words 'Gabriel is a very passionate person when it comes to this subject and he has this way of making you wanting to know more and more' - yes , that's what I need , a motivating tutor and lots and lots of new things to learn. And people that want to learn as well...if you are going to start again in April, it's possible we will be studying together.

Can you tell me why so few people seem to study with them? Is it the matter of money or something else? Now when I looked around a bit, I see people are doing ITEC, VTCT and so on... but nobody talks about ITHMA - why is it so?(hell, I'm quite lost in the English school system ... I come from Poland and all my previous schooling has been done there, I can't really compare the value of different schools and diplomas/qualifications offered).

And now I need to say I've done it! I spoke to Gabriel couple of weeks ago , and filled the forms in, and can't wait to start the course - it starts on my birthday, so I take it as a sign that this is something destined for me!

The course is great!!! And I would wholeheartedly recommend it - the content is quite extensive, the teachers really passionate about the subjects they teach, and the overall atmosphere of the course is just wonderful. We did the 'French week' about a month ago - it's a week when you go to France and learn all about the chemistry of essential oils with Rhiannon Harris - she knows so much about it and can present the subject so that even the non-scientific minds can get it....the surroundings are great as well.....what else would you like to know? I believe I will visit here more often now, so I will be able to answer any detailed questions

many thanks Abssinthe.....after reading comments and doing a bit of research in courses available, i actually enrolled on this course. I started the ITHMA aromatherapy course in october 2007. I am really enjoying the course, lots of work to do, teachers so far are superb... i cant't wait for the week in France, so it's great to get your feedback.
