crazy conversation I heard while in the bathroom

I was in the bathroom at a spa taking a shower after a session, i heard the bell ring and some guy came in. he was talking to the ladies for a while then i heard "so you guys dont serve people like me?" now me being a black man was very confused when i heard this, because i had just finished a very nice session, and was treated great and ive never had any trouble at a spa ever with mpa refusing to see me. I realized the guy talking was some brown guy, their excuse was that the showers werent working at the moment (which they werent when i had arrived but they served me anyways and the showers started working by the end of the session). he left in frustration, really shocked didnt know brown guys have that bad of a rep when it comes to these things.

I had a whole thread about this recently because I heard this too from many different MPAs. I know this doesn't apply to all Indian guys and there are some popular and active Indian members on here that I'm sure can get what they want at the spas. It's just too bad the "cheaper" ones are giving them a bad name, that's all. Hopefully, with more awareness, those "cheaper" ones will change their behaviour. Aside: just the other day, an MPA was telling me a few Indian friends (younger guys) went to the spa and one after the other, they kept trying to bargain for extras and only offering $20.

This week a friend of mine who is an MPA massaged an Indian woman for 1 hour and received a tip of a Toonie. Today she sent me a message that the lady's husband came in for a 1 hour massage and he tipped her $5.00. The owner of the Spa is now talking about refusing service to those peeps.

rolls eyes, that's a thing, in Nepal and other generally poor countries for sure...but if she's offering 60% off on extras she may as well take 5% of the risk, eliminate her anti-biotic and condom budget and get a normal job (assuming it's not Walmart)...on the flipside if i'm markedup 20-40% i'll usually say no thanks and unless shes otherwise fucking mindboggoling (which most arent) wont go back. if i'm paying premium price i expect premium service. you don't pay mercedes s-class price for a mustang, a honda accord or worse a 1998 buick lesabre

I've actually witnessed this. A bunch of indian guys trying to haggle price down with the receptionist. It was so weird. Even if someone managed to get $20 off, they'd pretty much guaranteed be given a shitty session so it's not even a good idea IMO

Don't get me wrong, I am pro-tipping especially when the service is good. However, did this couple pay for the service that they received? If yes but just tipped poorly, I think refusing service is a little excessive. Sometimes the owner may just need to understand/accept the fact that people's generosity and appreciation of service are not all in the same level.

While I was hanging out quite a bit at Kelly spa on Bayview, I have seen some tipping only 2 to 3 dollars and most tip $5. That's not new. It seems the girls are used to that and okay with that cuz it's a legit spa.
Semi legit spas might be a different story. Most lady customers at JR tip $10 and occasionally $5. The killer for girls at semi legit spas are big combo lady customers. All they got was $10-15 tips for 2 hrs.
