Credit Cards

I'm looking to start taking credit cards for my practice. Has anyone used the Cell Charge service advertised in ABMP's Different Strokes? If so, how do they rate against other services. If not, what service do you use?

I go with card service international.
I process via cell phone or land line.
When my contract is up in a few months I will be switching over
to Sam's Club. They have a great program to process cc. Probably the cheapest program I have found so far.

I use Propay (http://www.propay.com). It works for me. They do take out a little more in perceneforum.xxxes (3.25%) but you don't have to rent equipment as it's all done online and there are no monthly fees. I just upgraded my account to the Premium, $59.95 and I'm happy with it. I'd say about 10-20% of my business is credit cards so I'm not losing too much money by having a higher perceneforum.xxxe taken out.

I second ProPay. If you don't process a large amount of CC transactions, they are the way to go.

I, too, went with ProPay. In fact, this morning I just processed my first two credit card transactions. Whoo-hooo!

All went well, and the information was easy to input and understand. My only advice for you (which others have mentioned, too) is to have paper copies of invoices with invoice numbers that you input at the time of processing. That way, if you have multiple entries for the same amount from the same person (which happens if one person buys a few GCs online for different people for the same amount on the same day) you can keep track of which is which.
