11 pm curfew is bullshit

I stayed in many hotels throughout China in the past 4 years, and nearly all this lovely hotel direction booklets you'll find in your room you will find this 11:00 PM guest policy. I passed a few weeks ago even with a hooker in hand past the night manager and his assistant, as they were just standing behind the entrance.
On other occasions they handed even a room card to the hooker, when i was asleepd and did not hear her knocking (15+ Tsingtao ).
Just in any case look around your hotel for the next one, and tell them to prepare your bill, if this don't helps change the hotel.(and this is for all over the world)

There are 2 Crowne Plaza hotels in Beijing, which confused the hell out of me! This was not the one I stayed in last time.

The one on Wangfujing Avenue is girl friendly, I walked in with a little cutie at 12.20 in the morning and just got smiled at. However, one of my colleagues, an attractive mid 30's Singaporean girl, did get asked for her room key whenever she walked in the hotel on her own at night! (She just shrugged her shoulders and said she was used to it!

Anyway, I will post a new post about my trip as there are so few posts in this section.

The 'no guests after 11pm' is a law in beijing city but most hotels ignore it, bad for business if they enforce it. Also the hotels own girls flit from room to room until the early hours of the morning.

Outside beijing it may be strictly enforced or maybe not so strictly, I often go to inner mongolia and even checking in with a GF is not allowed in some places, friends from USA had to prove they were married to get a room.

I have only been to one hotel in beijing where it was apparent on checkin that the 11pm curfew and no female guests would be enforced, walked out and got another hotel.

I noticed in the China World that the 11pm curfew thing seemed to be law, but at least in the China World it isn't enforced. There are even girls in the lobby bar after 11pm. I think I took a girl into Kerry Centre after 11pm as well. Is this an issue in other hotels?

I always stay at the Hilton... good hotel and nice rooms.. (plus I am a Diamond member there)...

Just a short walk from the HRC....

Never a problem taking a girl upstairs... even if she looks like an obvious working girl... I know many of the staff.. but not the security they have in the lobby at night (sometimes)...

If you get back before 1pm.. you can just say you are going up to the bar on the second floor... and continue on up to there room

The bar has had more and more FL starting to hang out there... but not as many as the HRC..

The crowne plaza has been recently remodelled (at least it was closed for remodelling for a long time). The staff will be different so only someone who has been there recently may know if it is girl friendly.

Best thing is to book a room for 2 (no extra cost) if you can - if in dire difficulty you can always say booked for two but did not know had to check in both guests. Walk staight faced through the lobby to the lifts (remember the 11pm curfew on guests) and you are home (or in heaven at least).

If you get her to stay after 11pm chaances are she will stay all night. Also a little TLC and attention etc goes a long way to a GFE.

Plenty of girls around, I will try to get Moon's phone number (20/21 year old) very nice, plays innocent but when warmed up is a tiger. RMB1,000 overnight, maybe go for dinner (prime hotel - wangfujing just up the street from crowne plaza has a good, all you can eat, buffet dinner). I will email Moon's number if I get it.

I once stayed in the CP hotel, but got no idea of whether it is girl friendly. I'll be back there in a few weeks and wondered if anyone knew please?? Other thing is I noticed last time I was there that there was a bar to the right (as you look at the front of the hotel) up some stairs. I guessed it was a KTV place, but I never got brave enough to go inside on my own (it was dark and the bouncers were very big lol).....anyone know it??
