crying baby at tennis match: who is the ass, the father or the tennis player?

Who is the bigger ass?

The father who didn't immediately remove the infant from the stands or the player who lobbed a ball into the stands?

Supposedly the player wasn't doing so well and when a baby started crying in the stands, it got even worse for the player. To the point where he lobbed a ball into the stands.

In typical journalistic integrity the reporters state that he shot the ball at the baby where he did no such thing. He simply lobbed it into the stands. The ball landed no where near the infant....

The player on the other hand shouldn't have played through.

He should have waited until the father and child were removed.

Pretty stupid behavior on the part of the player. Pretty inconsiderate of the parents.

As none of us were there we don't know if the baby just started or the child had been acting up earlier in the match as well. If the crying just started the player should have waited and I'm sure the officials would have addressed it. Based on what the reporter was saying it wasn't the first bad decision the player made that day.

For sure the media will try to sensationalize the incident but to back them up a little bit... right after he hit the ball you can hear John McEnroe's comment. He hit that towards the baby, he can't do that. It must have appeared intentional.

Yeah he was, as it looks like just terrible sportsmanship.

Another possibility would have been if he would just politely called out to keep the baby quiet but instead he acted emotionally.

But if you read the story, it plainly and openly states that the ball wasn't lobbed anywhere near the baby or the father....

it's just the commentators trying to make it worse than it is....and we ALL know they NEVER do that do they? lol....

As some of the comments say: for all we know the baby could have been behind the tennis player.....

(and yes we're watching the same clip, unless of course you have superpowers and can see what's behind the camera and not shown.....all we see is a shot of a man holding a fussing baby, and then we see a tennis player lob a ball......but if you believe that, I bet you believe in transporters, flying cars, jet bikes, and ocular implants that enable you to see for 10 miles)

It wasn't just the commentator, it was the news Anchor, the written description and a few of the comentators all saying pretty much the same thing... he lobbed the ball in the direction of the crying baby.



FORTUNATELY he missed! He has bad aim!

Whether he was aiming specifically AT the baby, no one other than he, will know for sure, but it sure looks that way.

From what I have seen these pro tennis players can pretty much hit the ball wherever they want.

So I'm thinking if he really wanted to he could come very close.

Naw he just got frustrated and hit the ball in their general direction. Still not very wise.

Both cannot be true....

The article plainly states he LOOKED in the GENERAL direction of the child.....

So, if you see in the video that he shot the ball directly at the baby, from two separate and unrelated images, then you MUST also believe that armstrong takes steroids.......:

I'd really like to have CG's vision, to be able to see something in a video that isn't there......you must REALLY enjoy movies...I mean hell, when all these actresses are finished getting laid and wrap a sheet around them you must also be able to see whether they are shaved, have a landing strip or a power bush!!!

Then again, it must ruin it for you being able to see the director, the sound techs, the cameraman and all the wires running behind the scenes......
