i was just wondering if you could post something on here to help others??? its just that i am looking for jobs in the therapy areas, but im afriad that i am going to be asked for a CV, and all my CV is for is office jobs! so it dont look to good for me as it looks like i havent got much experience (which i havent really!) but would like to make out that i have!

any help???

You cannot lie in your CV, the only thing I can suggest is to do Voluntary work at Old Peoples home, or Contact your local community Voluntary group, for ideas off them.

You don't need much time, a few hours on your day off/nights.

Or you could ask around at your local health centre/sports centre, to see if you can gain work experience.

Gosh can you not lie on CV's?!!! I got many a job from telling porkies! The odd A Level here and there. Oh sorry, that's naughty. Don't do it.

Nah, its fine to tell a porkie, about education, there not interested in that, its the experience, if you are going for a job, it can be awkward right enough, if you do, as guaranteed what goes out must come back. The same with the education ok, for jobs, but not for further education.

I hope D.T, helped you with the lay out of it, as I was unsure myself, so got one of my friends to redraft it, using the info I gave her, it always helps, gaining knowledge on that part from somebody else.

Trouble is it is sooooo difficult to get going on therapies. Did the voluntary bit myself for just that reason and it was a very worthwhile experience. Got chucked in right at the deep end and had to get on with it. Mind you, that was after a very tough interview with a doctor who was also the trustee. Figured if I could get through that then they must think I was ok. But I was very nervous on my first day. After that it was a breeze....... ha ha...
seriously, recommend it and you will learn a lot from it.
