Hi, i know that a thrombosis is a contra indication for reflexology, what i want to know is if someone has had a D.V.T in the past but is alright now.
how many years inbetween being clear of D.V.T. would you class it as not being a problem with reflexology?
i hope what i am asking makes sence.

Hi Froggy,
It is generally a good idea to ask them to clear it with their doctor or consultant first. You can not make that decision simply on what they choose to tell you about it.

If they have had the veins stripped and have been given the all-clear then it should be safe to do a treatment.

When they ring for the appt for the first time I always ask if they have had reflex before and if not, I then check that they do not have any contraindications which need clearing before they arrive.
