Darley Pedi Stool (as opposed to Lafuma)

Hello - I'm new to the website and as a student, find all the postings very helpful.I bought a Lafuma recliner and have used this through my training for case studies.

I'm going to be mobile for the first couple of years and wonder if the Darley Pedi Stool is easier to lug around - I find the recliner a bit cumbersome sometimes getting it in and out the car, up the stairs and so on. Do others have a view on this?

Also, any ideas on where's the best place to get one?

I had the pedistool and I found I got backaches when I used it - I am quite tall and could not get the client's feet high enough for my liking, so I was stooping forward. I also found the bit the client's calves and feet go on too high for the average chair ie they end up with their legs more raised than is comfortable. See if you can borrow one and try it out. There are also similar pieces of kit around sold by folks like Beautelle.

I would not be without my Lafuma - I love it and so do my clients!!

hi, ive got the pedi stool and have been using it for years!!! its kept in my car and fits perfectly and only use it for mobile work, use treatment bed for my room. and the clients love the pedi stool.....they think its more fasinating abotu how it folds up!

have had no problems with it that the feet are to high for the client or backache from me, but im average size and not tall. i couldnt do with out my pedi stool, i find it perfect for my mobile work.
