This is a Dear Abby submission. A woman's rambuncious children broke her MT friend's two fingers! I think Dear Abby's advice is right on target! The mother's attitude is appalling!

If I were "Rosemary" I think I'd want more than just a few weeks lost wages. I've known MT's who've suffered injuries, thinking that they would be back to work in a few weeks, only to find out that their career has ended.

I don't know what I'd do if I had a serious injury to my hands? I've been an MT for 11 years. I wouldn't even know how to go about finding work in another field? I feel so bad for this woman, even though I don't even know her. I'm infuriated by the child's mother's response to the whole thing too!
