[V-katastrophe]

WOMAN'S DIARY:

Sunday 19th March 2006. Saw him in the evening and he was acting really
strangely. I went shopping in the afternoon with the girls and I did turn
up a bit late so thought it might be that. the bar was really crowded and
loud so I suggested we go somewhere quieter to talk. He was still very
subdued and distracted so I suggested we go somewhere nice to eat.
All through dinner he just didn't seem himself; he hardly laughed, and
didn't seem to be paying any attention to me or to what I was saying. I
just knew that something was wrong.

He dropped me back home and I wondered if he was going to come in; he
hesitated, but followed. I asked him again if there was something the
matter but he just half shook his head and turned the television on. After
about 10 minutes of silence, I said Iwas going upstairs to bed. I put my arms around him and told him that I loved him deeply. He just gave a sigh, and a sad sort of smile. He didn't follow me up, but later he did, and I was surprised when we made love. He still seemed distant and a bit cold, and I started to think that he was going to leave me, and that he had found someone else. I cried myself to sleep.

OK, attempt number 2 to post this, assuming those little electrons don't go on strike again.

With regards the gender of the person who implanted this information in my mind (not saying if it's mucky!), I can't be absolutely sure however I would suspect that your assumption of this being a person of the so-called "less superior" gender might well be correct.


As for use of such things - I must stress rule 102 of being an English Gent states that at no time shalt the English Gent be perceived to take advantage of a lady, except under clause 3 of said rule.

Clause 3 states that:

- A gent may take advantage of a member of the fairer sex if and only if it is deamed likely that in doing so they will make the member of the fairer sex feel better about themselves than they were before such an act was started upon.

In English that means you can make her feel guilty and thus increase the chances of erm, certain things, only if it the resulting smile and cuddle will make her feel really good about herself since she believes she's massively cheered up the gent which is probably actually true...


Oh and thanks for the welcome - got pointed to this post by a friend who I won't name incase she's now seriously regretting letting a geek lose on the forums! Ahem... :[sm=speechless-smiley-008.gif]

blimey o' reilly![sm=speechless-smiley-040.gif]you took the words right out of my mouth in regard of the "less superior" terminology( well that's not quite true, the words " when god created manhe must of beenhaving a really bad day" springs to mind![sm=rollaugh.gif])...and call it a lucky guess or a hunch that i may well just be onto something!!




i seeeeee [sm=scratchchin.gif], like that is ittttttt... now if i was cynical, of which i'm not i hasten to add , methinks that once the lady knows she has *cheered* the man well and truly up, then she is in prime position to ask for him to show his gratitude by an array of the little short straw jobs that need doing pronto...and then its HER turn to make him feel guilty...and then implement her own rule of no " smiles and cuddles" until he complies with her wishes..heh heh heh!!!

I know - look at the shoddy way he/she packaged some of the most vital and valuable equipment!!

Now with regards this apparent hole in the master plan, erm, naturally of course that is simply part of an even bigger masterplan to make sure women think they are absolutely superior to us guys. The logic being that they'll spend so much time gossiping about this fact and complaining about their guys that we'll never get nagged to paint the living room ever again...! Clever eh?

Actually there is a rumour that this plan was created by a woman to make men think they are making women think they are superior, when infact it's women who are winning by getting the guy to do all the things she wants in exchange for the cuddles and smiles. Still looking into that one...err...
