UK government claims that 1 in 1,000 Delta variant Covid infections identified through testing, result in a death of the patient.
But, the UK government also asserts that only 1 in 20 Delta variant Covid infections will be identified, and that 19 in 20 will go without being detected and without resulting in death.

That means the death rate from Delta variant Covid infections is 1 in 20,000.
In other words, you have a greater chance of dying in a car accident than you do of dying from the Delta Variant.
