Lexington County, SC (WLTX) - Lexington County deputies have arrested four women during an undercover operation targeting prostitution in the county.

Investigators say they made the arrests at three massage parlors: Sunset Spa and the Relax Massage in Lexington, and Palmetto Sun Massage in West Columbia.

“These types of operations aren’t welcome in Lexington County,” Sheriff Jay Koon said in a statement. “We have a high quality of life here and the activities related to these places do nothing to enhance our community.”

The Sheriff's Department is also asking for the public's help.

"It really is all about the citizens being our eyes and ears in the community and if something just doesn't look right or doesn't seem, maybe it seems to be out of place if they let us know that's often times how we can take that information and then begin an investigation," said Captain Adam Myrick.

The four women taken into custody who've been charged with prostitution are the following:

-Sun Ah Cho, 34

-Ae Seon Lee, 47

-Ok J Park, 59

-Meijuan Yu, 54

Koon says the investigation into these establishments and others like them is ongoing. “Our investigators are still interviewing individuals associated with these places,” Koon said. “We’ll continue to look at any possible connections to human trafficking.”
