Desperate for Insurance Abroad (Gibraltar)

Hi Guys

Hope you can help me - I just called the FHT to renew my insurance, but now they tell me they could only insure me abroad for one year - which they forgot to inform me of when I first signed up with them.

So now I am desperate to find insurance abroad - the local companies here enquire in the UK, so they are taking their time, time which I dont have. Not sure what to do - may have to cancel my appointments unless I get the insurance soon.

So if anybody knows of any insurance companies that will insure abroad please please let me know. I have done searches on the internet but it just keeps coming up with uk companies that dont insure abroad.

I am IIHHT Qualified in body massage and Indian head (I qualified in the UK).

Look forword to any info you may have.

Is Gibraltar technically "abroad"? it is a British territory isn't it?

I don't know of any, its not something I've looked into. I would recommend calling [link=http://www.balen.co.uk/]Balens[/link] though - they are very good and helpful.

Apparently, Gibraltar is a grey area - so the insurance companies are just as confused. So they have it down as abroad.

I have tried Balens, but they only insure for 30 days abroad. Thanks for your response.

Any other companies would be greatly appreciated.

Does anyone know how I can get Beauty Insurance in Gibraltar. I'm based in London and have just called my current insurer and have been told they don't cover Gibraltar. I've a few big well know beauty insurance companies and they don't!

Thanks for your reply. The Beauty Guild don't insure for Gibraltar. However found out that Balens can.
