It recently came to my attention that adult toys are illegal in Thailand.no:
I am wondering if there is a loophole in this law; does the law ban the erotic usage of implements not actually designed or intended for adult play, but none the less capable of being used in the bedroom? :love2:
It seems to me that the law would, for example, have to ban a banana in the bedroom โ after all it would be pointless, if not hypocritical, to ban dildos, but to allow for then to be substituted with a bananas and suchโฆ
- In other words, are bananas illegal under certain circumstances in Thailand?
I would hate to be breaking the law!!!
This is no laughing matter. Arrests have been made in the past for such offences.
Ms. Rungthiwa Chartpradit, 29, from Chiang Mai, was arrested a couple of years back for selling sex toys. At the time a police spokes man said,โ We were sad to discover that several of the models were even battery-powered and could be switched on to vibrate."
Her customers were given a 30 day amnesty to hand back items purchased from her catalogue. "We will ask no questions, even if the effect appears to have been used" said the police source. :what:
Several of the effects was later found missing from the station. It was assumed that they were take by police who themselves wanted to investigate the criminal usage of the articles further.
"Almost all of the items were much bigger than the real thing, even if it said 'natural size' on the package. Who can use a monstrum of 10 or 12 centimeters length for anything pleasurable is beyond my imagination" said one of the officers.
