Disappointed in Smiles

Well, I for one had no problem.

Called about 6:30 pm last night, made an appointment with Gigi today for this morning. Called mid-morning to confirm, Gigi herself answered the phone and confirmed.

Got there this morning, Amy answered the door, told her who I was, and she showed me to Gigi's room, where she was waiting.

She is a really sweet girl, and I hate to see her get a bad reputation. The two times I've called ahead to see her, I've seen her at those appointed times.

Not 1 for calling ahead, have heard some horror stories from many of the girls. Some guys make an appointment as though they are making a dinner reservation with their girlfriend but another guys shows up a little earlier and takes the girl an extra 5 or 10 mins or so which upsets the guy who made the appointment. He gets mad and then takes another girl to piss off the girl her made a reservation with and then the girls end up a little mad at each other. Whatever. The appointment is like the lineup - go with what you want in mind and if you get what/who you want then you'll be happier. If not, have a plan B (maybe the same spa, maybe not). Have fun and enjoy the menu.

Always thought any camera would be for viewing and not for recording but I'd still like to get a definite answer on that.

Also if anyone is keeping score, I've never had an problem with Smile keeping an appointment but I have had my appointments hijacked a few times by some crafty guys. If you repeat with a girl, the chance of that happening drops. Plan to go on non-peak hours and you'll almost never have any problems.

Well, seeing as I was there, I'll tell you exactly how it went down.

I have no vested interest in bending the truth--so take that as you will. I can only assume Braveheart is speaking tongue in cheek. He alludes to my "reaction", which was EXTREMELY tactful--so please be careful with indictments, cool?

With that, PLEASE know that I was in no way offended with Connie (a little surprised), but my disappointment was in the lost appt., not her reaction which was just a side story I find interesting has garnered interest.

2. Connie (I did not know who she was) answers.
3. Me: "Hi I am %name% and I have a 10:00 appointment with Gigi.
4. Connie: (VERY contrite) "Oh noooooo. Oh nooooo. She just now busy.
5. Me: (With failed smile) Ohhh. Please don't tell me that.
6 Connie: Hang on...(she goes to check something)
7. Connie: Can you come back in more than hour?
8. Me: (pause, shoulders slumped): Uhmm. No, I don't think I have that time, but thank you.
9. Connie (intelligble)
10. Me: "Sorry?"
11. Connie (intelligble)
12. Me: (Leaning in a little to hear her) I'm sorry, what is that?
13. Connie: You try me.
14. Me: No. Well...what is your name?
15. Connie: Connie
16. Me: No, that is okay I will make another appointment for Gigi.
17. Connie: (Face changed from happy to mad REAL fast)---Slam.

I'll note, she did not violently slam the door but did shut it on my face (and not slowly) as I stood there. (I consider that slamming the door in your face). Please note I have no agenda to get her in trouble--I'm sure she deals with all kinds of people. I just saw it as lacking class, and my reaction really was, "boy, I'm glad I did not 'try her' and moved on.

Buck-
I've seen Holly 3 times and she is a lot of fun. That being said, she is quite eccentric and can be a little schizophrenic too (I mean that in a good way, nothing is ever the same twice with her) so your story doesn't surprise me. Trust me, if you decided to see her tonight I'd bet money she'd be all together different. Not for your sake...but probably more for hers. Next time I'd roll with it and see what happens!

Ha-ha. I've seen Holly a few times as well (she was my first Smiles girl, in fact). I have a hard time keeping up with her.
