My first names on my yahoo avatar and my last names Kaluba, many people at school call me by my last name at work, school, gym, everywhere basically, would it be cliche to introduce my self by my last name only, e.g hi, I'm Kaluba....

It's an African name, I only just moved to north America 14 months ago and still get told I have a deep accent, will the accent go well with a African name too?
 
No. My last name is Ryan and it sounds weird to me to say a name that's normally a guy's name.
