The company I work for has a Quality of Life Committee that is looking into offering massage therapy for the upper body. I would like to know if there are any Small or Large corporations that offer the service to their employees? We feel that it would help our fellow employees immensely due to the stress levels some of them have. We would appreciate any help you can give us in trying to find other companies that offer this service to their employees. It would help us greatly if you could send us some names of companies that we could call or e-mail to find out how well the program is working. Thank you.We are in Hartford, Connecticut

The division of TRW I worked at years ago used to doit, but the employees paid for it (and were happy to do so).That divsion is now sold off.However, I'm a massage therapist and have provided chair massage on occasion to companies. I have beenpaid as a gift to a regional Title office by one of their vendors. Offering something like this makes you look good as an employer (even better if you'll pay for it) and offers realphysical and emotional benefits that will translate intobetter quality of work.Somewhere out there, I read a study about increased productivity and help with carpal tunnel management.Try the AMTA or ABMP websites.

I am a massage therapist and live in PA, a local company called PG Energy does have therapists come to all of their facilities once and week, I think there main office is in Wilkes-Barre, PA.  The spa that does the massages is called Rejuvenessence out of Pittston, PA.  The employees really love it.
