Do you massage your dog?

My dog has been feeling poorly so I decided to give her a massage and she LOVED it!! Now she won't stop following me around and licking me.

Do you massage your dogs?
If not, I think you should. My baby girl loved her massage and it got rid of so much fur which she normally sheds! And her facial expressions were just gorgeous
Katie: Thanks for the advice, but I find it much more rewarding and fun to do by hand. Ha, my nan vacuums her cocker spaniel.. And he likes it! He's deaf, so I think thats why it isn't scary for him.

get a zoom groom. it helps pull out the loose hair and feels great for your pup. my rabbit, goat and two dogs love mine. massage is actually suggested by some vets for animals you have aurthitis and musclele spasums

My Doxies are 9 lbs and 13lbs, so I dont technically massage them

However, my wife frequently pet, stroke and scratch them.

It never occurred to me to really give my dogs a GOOD scratching until about 4 months ago (why i dont know when its SO cliche' to scratch a dogs head or behind the ears) and I tell you, it made them even sweeter toward me (if thats possible, they are ANGELS!)

yes, i massage my dog. sometimes, when we cuddle, i massage my baby girl. And when she gets sick, sometimes i massage her sinuses. SHE LOVES IT. she is so spoiled! i think a massage is healthy for dogs, just like humans. dogs can get stressed, too, you know!?
