do you sometimes add people on facebook but never chat to them...?

say when you meet a new person somewhere they tell you do add them on facebook.. then you do it. but then you feel awkward to contact them cuz in reality you don't know them that well ... has this happened before ?? .. i have many contacts like that . it feels weird to just write on their wall or something....

Yes it happened to me more than once.
Usually if i don't talk to them at all i just remove them from my list because it would be awkward to be both online and not chat to each other.

I talk to everyone that adds me, random or not.

It's not awkward. You can't get to know anyone unless you first talk to them.

All the time. I should really delete some people because some people who I never spoke with to begin with added me as a friend, probably to be nosey. I have people from high school who I NEVER spoke to once in person, but they just recognize my face and decided to add me. It's just odd. I need to quit being nice and delete them lol.

I have hundreds of contacts on Facebook that I have never chatted with. In fact, if someone were to say to me, "Oh I see (insert name here) is on of your contacts. Don't you just love him/her. He/she is so cool," the chances are, I'd reply, "Who?" LOL The fact is I play a lot of games there that necessitate contacts for my Mafia, Clan, Army, Allies, whatever the particular game calls them. I have made some great friends this way, but the majority of my contacts..."Who?"
