...or hurting the industry? So, Anheuser-Busch InBev and MillerCoors Brewing Co. are introducing their own "craft" selections to combate their shrinking sales. Is this good for the industry? Does it introduce consumers to larger varieties of beer or does it steal valuable shelf space from small artisanal breweries that deserve a fair shot?
 
I think it will have minimal effect. Bud and Miller drinkers are gonna keep drinking bud and miller. Real beer freaks (such as myself) won't really touch the macro-made microbrews.
 
These guys will NEVER be able to compete with local beer. I bartend at a 4 star hotel and anyone who travels constantly will always ask for a local product. Next to the bud light swill, my local beers are my top sellers. To anybody who is interested in beer, please see whats made near you, I bet you'll be pleasantly surprised!
