I'm looking to find out if anyone sells product or gift baskets that would be interested in going to a trade show in Chicago.  I'm going to the show and thought I'd let anyone know who is interested about it.  The show is from Jan 19th-Jan 26th.  Looks like a really cool place to find some great products to sell.  That is if you are into selling gift type stuff.  If you're into only stocking treatment/massage type stuff this wouldn't be for you.  Post here if you'd like to meet up or attend.  I think it's free.  I just registered and what you need is a Retail Sales Tax license or a business license or a current federal tax # AND a business card or payroll stub or W2.  It looks like it only costs you if you are registered as a guest...then it's $50.  Just thought I'd share!  For those of us who are interested in unique gift basket type of stuff.

Terab,Would love to go but I'm in California and funds are limited.  I put together gift baskets, make my own body scrubs, bath salts, etc.  I have a lot of fun with crafts but I usually get a new craft once a year.  This trade show, do you know if the same one will be held on the west coast?Connie/Total Surrender

Does anyone sell product or....

Well, there was a particular company that I'm going there to check out but the trade show (gift and home market) itself that's in Chicago is really, really huge.  I think the merchandise mart (where the show is located) is just about 1,000,000 sq ft.  That's not a typo...it's one million sq. ft.  Is that even possible?  Anyway, that is a permanent site in Chicago.  Some other gift and home market shows are in ...
