does chair massage pay as good as table massage or not?

HI my name is jennifer i go to school for massotherapy and i love it....but i really enjoy doing chair massages better then table massages.....would i be able to do just chair massages and make good money or should i do both? im not sure what to do...i would love to hear what other people think

Yes, you can make a living just doing chair massage, if that is your preference! I do both because I enjoy both, but know of others who choose one and do just fine.

Chair massage should pay better than table massage.

Sadly, most practitioners have it backwards, and too many potential chair massage clients are accustomed to the low prices.

But you also need to consider that chair massage usually comes in multi-hour blocks, so don't look just at the hourly rate when thinking about how lucrative chair massage can be.

I do both and probaly make more per day when I do event chair work. Especially if you charge a $ figure for your time being there and not just per massge. When I got my license I was reluctent to do chair work. But now I do both and enjoy the variety. Remember you don't have to make that choice quite yet. Try everything and what you really like you can stick with and let the rest go. You may find like me you enjoy the variety of both.
