Does the recent Al Gore massage story make him less boring or just plain creepy?

I always thought of him as just extremely boring. Now, I am confused. I guess he let the Nobel Prize for faulty Global Warming propaganda and the whole, "I invented the Internet" belief get to his head. It kind of does fit with the strange behavior we saw after the 2000 election. Do you remember the huge beard and weight gain?
Chey: Even though the title on the Snopes link you gave says the "rumor" is FALSE, the same page even admits that he said on National TV that he is responsible for "creating" the Internet. So, he believes that he was more qualified to be President because the Internet would not have existed without him. I watched him say that on TV! I know that the military and schools had already created it before his involvement. He is delusional. As with every Snopes page, you need to read between the lines. I read one that said claims about Pelosi's air travel were false. After reading the details, I found out it was only because one calculation in the e-mail was wrong, but the e-mail was essentially correct. It's not like the Mikey cereal Coca Cola and pop rocks thing. This is based on what we all saw him say on TV--more than once.

I really don't know. I am a bit skeptical about it, there is way too much dirty underhandedness going on in politics today. Perhaps it is just a big load of hooey in an attempt to completely discredit him. If they make him out to be a sleazoid, then maybe they can get folks to think he is lying about global warming, jmo.
