Some time back a friend told me about a new type of alternative self-help. It was nothing very special, just a way of curing minor aches and pains. But it still seemed interesting, so if anyone knows about it, could you tell me if it really works?
Anyway, the idea of the treatment was to select some object in your vicinity that appealed to you (He talked a lot about finding something with the right vibrations, I didn't understand all of it). Then you should hold that object against your ear, and wait until you felt "in tune" with it. After that you'd hold it against the body part that was troubling you, and the pain would go away.
It could be really useful if it works, especially for me, since I tend to develop little cramps and cricks during yoga. But when I've tried it, I haven't been able to tell if it's really been working, or if I was just imagining it, or if I was doing it wrong.
So does anyone here know if it really works? Or does anyone feel like trying it, so we can compare notes on it?
