Does this sound creepy when introducing yourself to a girl the first time?

There is a girl that knows my friends. I also want to get to know her on a personal level.

My friends were throwing a BBQ party and she came with her friends. I introduced myself to her and told her that she is friends with this person and that person and I saw you on Facebook.

I was shy and I didn't plan for this at all. I didn't even think of what I just said I just said it.

1) Does this sound creepy to others?
2) Does she think that I'm creepy?
3) Do I still have a chance to make amends with her?

First impressions aren't always the best, so of course you can still talk to her and she might forget the first impression if she thought it was creepy

its not like extra creepy but it is just a little she probably understands that you were a little nervous tho & its nothing you cant fix! i mean its not over the top creepy just keep talking to her every once & a while but not to much bc then you'll give off a stalker vibe... just chat or text her sometime! hope this helps!

If someone said that to me, my reaction would vary.
If I was interested in him, I would be excited. Maybe a little weirder out. If I wasn't interested in him, I might say oh really? And think (haha wtf is this kid doing?)

Just amend it slightly by asking her other things about herself when your next talking so she knows your not a stalker, but im sure its all good, good luck!
