I have been here a week and not even a wisper of a donkey show.

There are no donkey shows in Tijuana. Nor have there been any in all the time I've been going to Tijuana.

CuminTJ may well be correct in saying men over 70 could have seen a donkey show. His is the first creditible report I've encountered to make me think donkey shows were ever anything but a myth.

While still in my teens, i remembered visiti tj and we came across a donkey show sign at some off the beaten path bar. Once inside we were give the run around by the waiters about the donkey show but we soon were over it when the woman doing the floor show produced a donkey sized dildo and would let you stick it in her for $1.00! Now a days, if you are lucky enough to find a donkey show anywhere in Mexico, it will be a beer drinking burro, maybe a tequila drinking ass.

According to my dad (born in TJ in 1936) the last donkey show in TJ took place sometime in the mid 1950's; it was killed because of political reasons (it gave TJ a bad image) hasn't been revived since.

For the record, there hasn't been a donkey show in TJ in the last 50 years, anyone under the age of 70 claiming to have seen a donkey show in TJ is bullshitting you.

I assumed that the shows were a thing of the past. Even in Thailand the hide the frog and "where did I put that string of fake flowers" shows are almost gone. It seemed to me that I was the only guy who had not seen a full blown donkey show when TJ came up in conversation. I will admit the details were all sketchy except for the main point of WOMAN+DONKEY=feelings of inferiority.

There is debate about whether there was an authentic donkey show in TJ in the past. Certainly there is nothing like that now.

I don't go to the strip clubs on Revolution (they are generally ripoffs). The closest you will see to a Thai show in the Zona is at the Hong Kong Bar where the chicas sometimes get covered in shaving cream or go into a tub. You will actually get more hands on since you can play with them while they are dancing, unlike Bangkok. Greetings All,
I will be spending a week in TJ starting on the 27th of March. I have been to TJ on day trips and overnight stays in the past. With a week to kill I want to try and track down the infamous donkey show. Is it real? I once asked a cabbie and he told me that they don't do that in TJ.
If a D-Show is a bust what else is worth a look? Are there any sexy shows like the Angelwitch shows in Thailand? I have the big picture but I am looking to fill in the details.
