Double booking

I was wondering if this has happened to other people also. Call and book an appointment for someone , only to show up on time and be told to wait for 30 mins or so, or see a different person. When that happens to me, it is the last time that I will ever go to the place. They want to be treated with respect, and that should also go how they treat there customers. There are way to many good places out there to have to deal with the bad ones.

Just to give providers the benefit of the doubt this has happened to me. I have called well in advance to make an appointment with a specific lady. But they never ask your name. Not sure why- for anonimity, maybe? When I show up (on time) they ask, "Do you have an appointment?" Again, they don't ask your name so what's to stop somebody else walking in two minutes before me and saying, "Yes, I have an appointment." and taking your spot?

Yes, I've had that happen several times. The last time was at the massage place just off Yellowhead Trail. I booked 4 hours in advance, drove across the city, got there 10 minutes in advance and they said they are busy with a "regular" customer in the room. I told them I booked 4 hours ago and gave them my name on the phone. I'm a regular customer but not as regular as the other person, I guess.

That happened to me at Blue Sky. I arrived shortly after another fella who was shown into a room. Nini saw me and asked if I had an appointment, I said ya I called earlier. She went in and politely asked the guy if he had an appointment, which he didn't, so told him to come back in an hour or so. Very cool.

Stuff happens.Airlines,hotels overbook on purpose to maximise revenues and then offer points on a next flight or hotels bump you a lesser type room.
With massage folks,it is simply human error unless it happens all the time,then it’s disrespectful
.I will give them a pass if it’s first error.My 2 cents.
