I'll be staying downtown this week, any recommendations on Asian massage places during the day. Thanks in advance.

Sunflowers is close to DT and worth the trip.

I know of a place over near GRB, and I can point out some that are not too far from Mid town

Dong Kyong the original Asian Spa is on Emmanuel. Walking distance from GRB. Not sure about the services these days. They been there for 20 years because I was told it is owned by a retired sheriff chief who uses political pull to avoid busts.

Yep, I'd 2nd Sunflowers. There's also a place on Richmond next to some dive shop (I'm blanking on the name of the place or the cross street), but I haven't been there in months so no idea if it even still exists. It's a mixed bag anyway, which is why I'd give the nod to Sunflowers.

I live in Midtown and can tell you that AMP's aren't too good in this part of town. There is West Grey Thai Massage on West Grey, and LV Massage on Westheimer, but thats right around the corner from Sunflowers, which is better and more consistant.

I am in the same boat. I tried to setup a few, totally bombed, going to SF. Get this - I am going to take a bus. Makes for a bigger tip.

You are referring to the one and only "Asian Doll Spa", omn Richmond just off Shepherd which was closed about 2 years ago, re-opened briefly last year under "Mimosa" but LE shut that down quickly as it was very popular, advertised way too much. Currently unoccupied.

Yep, Mimosa, that was the one! I wasn't impressed with it, so I'm not heartbroken to see it go.

Yea I had my lamest experience ever there. I did a review on it , funny as hell.
