Dr. Fauci, point blank, said he does not recommend wearing a mask you buy at the drug store to protect against Covid.

“The typical mask you buy in the drug store is not really effective in keeping out virus, which is small enough to pass through material. It might, however, provide some slight benefit in keep out gross droplets if someone coughs or sneezes on you.”

The entire time, it was all a lie. And everyone knew the masks didn't keep out the virus.

The masks sold at Walmart, Home Depot, Shoppers etc., say on the box 'Not for medical use'.

If you read most of the medical orders throughout Ontario, they tell the public not to buy medical grade masks and to save those masks for healthcare workers.

And even the masks worn by healthcare workers don't protect from the virus. If they did, then bio weapons lab workers would just wear simple N95 masks when they are working with deadly viruses. But no, they wear space-suit type protection for a reason.

Who would think that a mask at Walmart is for medical use. And the mask is part of the overall strategy to lessen the spread. You know wear a mask, stay apart, wash your hands and if at all possible limit contact. This is what Fauci WHO, and all stated that we do as we worked on the vaccine.

Too funny, if you read the entire body of the email by Fauci he states exactly what science now knows, that masks help prevent the wearer from spreading the virus, that they offer very limited protection to a wearer from catching the virus. You make it sound like he is making a case against masks. Based on what is now known having everyone wear masks slows down the transmission of the virus. So don't twist the facts

No, the email doesn't state that.

Fauci clearly says the virus is smaller than the masks filtering capability.
Even the box from the manufacturer says the masks you buy are NOT MEDICAL MASKS.
