Early evening drink

Interested to find out where other BM's go for an early evening drink. What is your favourite place. We spent lots of time at the Blue Coral Bar before heading into the Bangla area. Found it to be a friendly bar and a good place to meet other visitors to Patong. Lot's of eye candy also!:great:

P1 or u2 bar, shipwreck not a bad call and the one next door, is it Blue Moon, never looked at the name much, lots of people watching and if going regular get to know everyone.

Just had a little reminisce moment, old dave bringing along his pasties, loved munching them with a cold tiger to wash it down, over to the pool hall for best of 5 games, before deciding which soi was going to get lucky and get my company for the evening. See in them days I actually thought I was a handsum man and everyone loved me, grown up a bit since, shame I liked that delusional period.

Think I must have been one of mavs first customers with the extra strong prototype rtg's.

Blue Coral is a good bar for late afternoon with everyone coming back in from a day on the Beach

Offshore is a great place to hang out with mates

P1 on Bangla good for a pre Mai Tai drink to watch the passing parade

Beer Garden in kamala is a local good for food and a catch up with the local lads

Blue Coral Bar is my local and has been for the last 4 years, i was probably there the same time as you. Great place for a relaxing drink without all the usual BS you get down Bangla and the staff are very friendly. Wan and Martin, the owners are good friends of mine and have had the bar since the Tsunami...

Saw a bloke having an early drink at Blue Moon at 9.45 am yesterday - they weren't even open !!

Was there in April/May and used to drink in any of the bars where the Blue Coral is located. Like to have an afternoon drink and found it great as there was always a good crowd from about 3.00pm onwards.
Also was some good bars located around the Mercure Hotel that were good for afternoon drinks.

Yes I had a good conversation with the owners on a couple of occasions. Found them to be very welcoming on the way in to town and also on the way back. Nice people.

Presume you mean Moon Bar. Lady barmaid said she was happy to open at 7.00am if I was around. "I open for cleaner....serve you Singha no problem...Must think I'm a total lush....On the other hand.

Last year I enjoyed sitting in the Summer Breeze Hotel Bar. Watching all the girls go by, going to the bars and looking to see where the fitties are going.
Plus Bill and the his staff are a great laugh and it's a nice relaxing place to start the evening.

I Like Margarita Bar with their upper deck above Starbocks for a few deinks watching the sunset and the world pass by

Its called Sunset Plaza and has about 7 bars in all inc Dolphin Bar, Beach Bar, Ocean View bar to name a few
