EBC like malaise spreading

Will this current LE crackdown in York Region ultimately kill the MP business
in the GTA? The LE strategy is highly effective and has killed EBC and now
others in the vicinity are quickly falling off the map. For fear of entanglements with LE, most likely there will soon be hardly any MP, MPAs
or customers willing to take the risk of being hammered.

As MPs disappear from the York region, LE in other parts of the GTA
may be pressured by the public and politicians to emulate the success of
York region LE. I think this is the beginning of the end of the MP business
in the GTA, unless LE makes some gross legal error in their investigations
and charges and a precedent setting case in favour of MPs is given

That is F'd up. Most guys are gonna go to other avenues to get their release. I go to an MP when I get the urge to go to an SP because of saftey issues, if MP are all closed down then you are gonna see alot more guys taking higher risks and seeing SPs. EBC is the probally one of the better places to have an MP since it is far away from homes and schools.

I would not doubt that it will lead to a lot more incall-SP type operations starting up in apartment buildings/condos (probably in York Region along Hwy 7). If they can't set up business in the commercial sector, they'll move to residential. I'm sure there will be at least a few more (if not already) outcall asian agencies.
The crackdown will not stop it. It will just bring it closer to the people who wanted it out of their vicinity. This will also make it harder to control and police against abuses on the women in the industry. Catch 22 really.

About five years ago the city of Vaughan and the parlours had a legal battle.
The spas put their money together and fought the city.
In 2004 this happened in Brampton.
In Vaughan however an inexperienced person was hired to put up the fight and the spas did very badly.
Ater that the city put into effect strict guidelines about how MPs can be licensed and run.

I think HFH will survive.
They have co-operated with city fully.

Let's not jump to conclusions here . If you look at the EBC area which was hit first there are still MP's operating there . Some , presumeably the licensed ones such as IT are operating in pretty much the same fashion as they have been all along .

What make anyone think that this will not be the case on the west side as well.

I think that there were too many of them . It was beginning to be like Tim Hortons ....one in every industrial plaza. IMHO it was becoming sleezy in appearance.

York appears to be also into not giving licenced body rub parlors renewals as

well. LE is also parking in front of licensed MPs lately, in attempts to scare

off potential clients. It would appear that having a licence or not helps

MPs, or MPAs or customers when LE does a sting operation and lays common

bawdy house charges.
