I understand that the EBC MP buildings are to be demolished
in the near future...so ends a legendary era... not likely
to be repeated anytime soon in the GTA. so dies the Fantasia
of MP's no jurisdictions will allow a conglomeration of MP's
anymore, LE is hastening the demise to allow a new influential
landlord to begin construction asap

The developers probably put the spa's there so the City of Rich Hill would allow them to re[place them with anything they wanted.

i find it hard to believe it will be demolished... there must be leases for the restaurants etc. - and it costs money to buy them out. next, there is a ton of vacant land nearby - if anyone wanted to invest in anything, its probably cheaper to build elsewhere from scratch. the owners would be better off to sell and buy land next door for a project than to tear it down.

my guess is that the owners of 165/155 ebc want to get rid of the MPs, particularly those on the more visible areas, as it makes it harder to rent out the rest of the units, but tear it down, no.
