An employee at Massage Envy in Eden Prairie has been charged with two sex crimes after he allegedly molested customers during massage sessions.
Mitchell Le Dac Ho, 28, of Eden Prairie is scheduled for a first appearance on two counts of third-degree criminal sexual conduct in Hennepin County District Court on Thursday, Dec 28, and remains in custody at the Hennepin County Jail.
A woman reported to Eden Prairie police that Ho digitally penetrated her until she told him to stop during a massage at Massage Envy in March 2016, according to a criminal complaint. The woman said she paid for the session and left, but was too afraid to tell anyone what had happened.
A juvenile girl also reported to police that Ho digitally penetrated her for five to 10 minutes during a massage on Sept. 23, 2017, at the Eden Prairie Massage Envy, the complaint said.
A manager at the Eden Prairie Massage Envy was not immediately available for comment.
The Star Tribune reported multiple Massage Envy clients have accused massage therapists of assault in other locations.
John Earl Young II was charged in 2013 for molesting a customer at the Minnetonka location in June 2013. In July 2013 he was charged with assaulting another client in Bloomington. He was convicted in both cases in 2015. Matthew Ryan Perry of Hopkins was charged with criminal sexual conduct in October after a client said he touched her inappropriately at the Edina Massage Envy. That case is pending, according to the report.
Massage Envy has 23 locations in Minnesota and over 1,000 franchises in the United States.
